Lynette Shebyrd are a group of mega-talented musicians who express the unconquered spirit of Southern rockers everywhere. Lynette captures the essence of vintage Southern Rock, tapping into those halcyon days when a concert was a lifetime event. If the past is indeed a prologue to their musical journey, then SheByrd is nothing less than timeless. With a badass rock-chick authority, these magnificent music mavens turn a genre upside down and transport the Southern Rock classics into the modern era.

In 2010, band founder, Laurie Es formed the Lynyrd Skynyrd Trybute known today as Lynette SheByrd.  A lifelong Skynyrd fan, Laurie set out to fulfill her longtime vision: A rock-n-roll time machine that would truly do justice to the genre-defining Southern Rock of the era and the exceptional songwriting that earned Skynyrd and their brethren its rightful place in the pantheon of classic arena rock bands.



With a talented group of musicians of established credibility, Lynette is a band unique unto themselves. Lynette SheByrd has generated considerable interest from its very inception, building up a solid social media fanbase and online presence even before venturing out of their Southern California homeland.

In particular, author & crash survivor, Gene Odom welcomed the band to perform at the 2017 Freebird Festival for the 40th Anniversary of the 1977 plane crash. Original Lynyrd Skynyrd Honkette, Leslie Hawkins was so inspired by Lynette's performance, she jumped onstage to join the gyrls on "Sweet Home Alabama". Needless to say, the Florida stalwarts were blown away by this union of Lynyrd Skynyrd royalty and sheer woman-power.


Lynette SheByrd has shared the bill with Black Oak Arkansas, Preacher Stone, Mustang Sally, Guitar Shorty, The Hickoids, Pete Anderson and many more.  They have graced stages all over the United States, including such venues as The Whisky A-Go-Go in Hollywood CA, The City Winery in Alanta GA, The Belly Up in Solana Beach CA, Lake Arrowhead Centerstage,  The Sky Ute Casino in Ignacio, CO for the 4-Corners Motorcycle Rally and has performed for Lynyrd Skynyrd themselves at the grand opening of their restaurant/venue, Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer in Las Vegas, NV.



With the niche of a female-fronted Southern Rock Revue yet unfilled, the SheByrds can venture into some exciting, uncharted territory on that dusty road laid out before them.
